As an addendum to Michelin:
Michelin also owns Kleber, not sure if those are sold in the US th . And only owns the Uniroyal brand for the North America (and a few countries in South America), as Uniroyal entered into a partnership with the Englebert tire company, which then started calling itself Uniroyal Englebert . Later that company was sold to C ontinental, so in Europe Uniroyal is a Continental brand, whereas in North America it’s a Michelin brand.
